just want to comment on your heater we used similar type eheim or ebo jagger heaters I notice it seems its to high you need to submerge it completely or atleast on the water level marking.

OH...that happend to me too when I was new with cl's I always wonder if there ok specially when I see them lying on their sides and when I see them not active I tend to tap the glass a little to see if they are ok.

I used this for Ich on my two clown loaches and small shoal of tetras and it worked well. Does your filter have carbon in it? and one more you should have gotten a minimum of 4 CLowns in due time when they get familiar with your tank they are gona come out they are sensitive to their surroundings and try to familiarizes them selves with it.
