Hi Jenricae, As Heligren said Sid's would be a good choice but I would get a school of 12 or so as I think they are better in larger groups.
I can also recommend Botia Kubotai or Rostrata as I have found mine to be quite peacefull and they do not hassle other fish.
Cheers Graeme.

Hi Gillz. A big hello and welcome from the other-side-of-the-ditch. I have never had snails but have read on here many times that Yo-Yo's are excellent snailhunters. They are a very active fish and mine are always out searching for food or chasing each other or harassing the other tankmates . They a...

Yangtze River Stones.

Hi All, Have been researching for a cruise on the Yangtze in August and stumbled on this site. Some of these would look great in your aquarium.

Hi Jim, I have heard that Spirulina acts as a laxitive if above 5% so that is why it is only added at levels below this. If you go to a Asian/Japanese grocery store you can buy dried Kelp which my Bristlenose love. It should be soaked in tank water for an hour to soften it and remove excess salt. No...

Nice upgrade Mark - What lenses do you have coming??? A 60mm and a 105mm Micro I guess. I have the 60mm and just love it and it can be used for much more than close-ups. You will be needing a flash as well so the SB900 will be next on your wish-list - just love mine.
Cheers Graeme.

Hi Jyynx, Clown Loaches should mix well with Severums - especially so if they are all juveniles. Knives can grow quiet large (quickly) and are known preditors so they would not be good in my opinion. With such a large tank you have lots of options including all the Botine Loaches like Kubotai - Rost...

Hi Mark, Great photo's of your healthy mature fish. The one of the Denisoni is a great capture as these would be one of the hardest fishes that I have ever tried to photograph - almost Mission Impossible with the resulting shots out-of-focus and/or blurred. Thanks for sharing them with us. Cheers Gr...

Hi All, Botia Robert PM'ed me and let me know about these fish that were at a shop in Brisbane so I went up and grabbed three. In his PM he mentioned that he thought that they could have been Kubotai due to the light-blue dots that most had in the centre of the dark bands and I can say they certainl...

Albino is a rare genetic condition were the body can not produce Tyrosinase which is required to make Melanin. It is evident from birth and can not be acquired or caught from any other source. This fish shows no red or pink in the retina which is always present in Albino's due to the lack of melanin...

Hi Brad and Welcome to Loachesonline, Stunning fish you have there and just like Keith I have only seen it once before in a fishshop in Georgetown,Penang.. How sudden was the change from normal colouration?? I doubt this is genetic, but a problem with production of Melanin (even the eyes lack Melani...
