I would say if you lost some before you will still probably have the same problem.

Loaches are normally pretty docile fish and probably should not be in a tank with Oscars. IMO.

I have a Batik with my Sewellia's. Mine is semi-agressive with them. It thinks it is the boss of the tank. It doesn't hurt them just pushes them around.

I think I got 2 females and a male. That are pretty young only about an inch long.

How many out there have had baby Sewellia's? I have 3 little guys that are now about 4 months old. I really don't have a 'river' tank set up but they definatly bread at one time.

Does anyone know how often they breed? What they do when they are in the mood? How many eggs to the produce?

That is interesting my hillies never bother the other tank mates.

The mess with each other all the time. What is really funny is watching the baby hillies go after the adults.

Ok, I am blind how can you tell that is a male? I thought that had 'gates' on the fins and I don't seem them?

Sorry for all the 'stupid' questions. I just found these guys and thing they are the coolest fish I have ever seen.

Is this common for Sewellia's

First off hi all! I have read a bit out here but can't really find the answer I am looking for or I am blind..lol

I have 2 Sewellia's in a 10 gallon tank, is it common for them (both females as far as I can tell) to nose push each other? They seem to do it at least once a day.
