I would not fear that. the T espei swim rather high in the tank, further their body is over 6 mm (1/4 inch) high when adults.
I don't expect kubotai and striata to get their mouth stretched that far

White spot is also sensitive towards salt. However, your loaches don't like salt either.
Further, as your didease is rather a-typical, I would first want to be certain of the identity before adding further stuff

Re: Emergency cycle needed!
Two further things might help. 1 is feeding thriftyly 2 many water changes Fish excrete ammonium, which is rapidly turned into nitrite, and slowly into nitrate. This latter is quite safe, but nitrite is not. During cycling you will expect nitrite levels to go up, and the only thing one can do is dil...

Re: Pea Puffers
I would not know what they are. Please refer to fishes by their scientific name - your common name might be used in only a few states, but even if it is used in the whole USA - that's just a fraction of the world.
Scientific names are fur use worldwide

Re: Tank requirement for 1 guarami plus few neon tetras
It was not luck the tank was quiet. When I got it, I was living in a studentsroom, of less then 5 * 3 meters. It was the fourth tank there, and the second large one. In my eyes, in any house a 1.5 meter (5 feet) tank will fit Later I moved, I had to rehouse all 4 of them in 1 day. Luckily I had frie...

Don't worry about that
If your tank is big enough to allow 50, you best keep them with 50.

Re: Tank requirement for 1 guarami plus few neon tetras
Firstly, a few neons is too few, they need to be in a group of at least 6 For such a group, a 27 liters tank (a cubic foot tank is 27 liters) might be a bit over the top, but not much. After all, the tank is not full, the tank will have some sand or something and lastly, the tank is measured from th...

Re: Hillstream loaches & plecos.
All kinds of creatures live in algae. Loricarids - generally - eat the algae, and everything in it.
Loaches quite often don´t eat the algae, but the small creatures. These can be bacteria, small legged animals - lots iof variety

Re: Hillstream loaches & plecos.
I would not try it. Firstly, the fishes come from different areas. Especially many L numbers like hot temperatures, loaches rather avoid. But more importanly, an Ancistrus (from Paraguay, that is ideal is 23 C) will eat a whole algae cover, with all the little animals in it, and might even scrape a ...

Again an attempt at trying people to follow a link. This time the topic is very old, 2009, and what's been added does not make sense.

On this forum, you will have to be careful following internet links from first time posters. In many cases the website where you end up will not be realted to loaches. I'm afraid I'm putting it mildly, I never try them.
