Awww  I can't imagine having to put one of my fish down.
But I'd never want them to suffer.

Hurt/sick fish, what medications??

I don't know how many people saw my post on my weather loach and the tight fit he got himself into, but he's now got a white ring around him where he rubbed the slime coat off. What should I get to treat this with? He's not acting out of the ordinary anymore- he was initially quite shocked in the af...

congratualtions fishwisperer HAHAHAHA! Ohh, boy. Yeah, I usually reserve petting because I don't want to harm their slime coat, but he especially enjoys it. I was fixing an ornament in the tank once, and he lurched into the curve my hand was forming when tugging on the ornament. So I just stayed st...

Definite great news! Breaking it would have been impossible without hurting the poor guy  He was stuck pretty good! But when he calmed down he stopped writhing and just let me go to work- he seemed to come out easy enough. About the ring of white around him now- what should I get to treat this ...

LOL i had to take action before any of these replies, sorry you all wrote in vain :( Sir Loin had worked himself into too much of a panic to leave him long enough to get replies- he was thrashing, and gasping like a maniac. He was also trying to force himself through, and scraping up his body in doi...

PLEASE HELP ME, RIGHT NOW!!!

As if the chaos in my clown tank wasn't enough, in the catfish/dojo tank my youngest Dojo, Sir loin, has got himself STUCK in a hole. He's so fat, only his head and front fins have fit through. He's stuck with his head and front fins coming OUT of the hole.... the rest of him is stuck in the ornamen...

I saw Maracyn2 there, not Maracyn... I'm going to ask the owner to get it shipped in to me. Yes, Lewellyn is a very piggy eater. In fact, he's always the first to eat, and always eats the most... and that's saying a lot with Tanooki in the tank!

They are little pigs, aren't they? Mine always go to the top of the tank when I come around. They know where the bloodworms come from. 8)
Always the first at the food, always the last digging around for it.
They fit right in with the bunch in my tank!

I tried some cucumber pieces just then, Lewellyn has greedily rounded them up into his cave  I'm anxious to help him out. So Maracyn2 is a dud? Cybermeez, I could have sworn I'd seen you mention it. :? Only name I've come across in any of the stores so far... I'm heading out tomorrow in one las...

Thanks everyone for the help! I think I will order some from one of you if that's possible- I'd love to make sure Lewellyn is ok. :( He acts fine and eats fine, too- but he looks too thin for my liking- and many others seem to agree. So just to confirm- Levamosile isn't toxic? How will it affect the...

MORE trouble... help?

My little clown Lewellyn was buried earlier (as angelfish had suggested to me online) I tossed in some bloodworms and he erupted from the pebbles. I'm starting to get worried- I can't find levamosile ANYWHERE- is there any place online I can buy it? :( Also, there's maracyn2 in stock at my pet...

Oh, they're gorgeous! I love the pot columns- I have one piece of fake wood with lots of holes in it that I've put vertically, the clowns adore it!

I thought you took a Kylie?
! THAT too! She's a tiny tad taller than me, though- actually, I don't know how well miss Minogue would fit herself into a double zero.

See, that's just the problem, I DON'T focus my camera  the darn thing apparently 'automatically' does the job for me. Go figure. Weird thing is, the photos I take of people and other objects are never off-focus. Only the fish. :? It isn't because they're moving- I've taken clear photos o...
