Hi Katy, Unfortunately I dont think I will have space for those guys after thinking it over a bit...I am picking up some B. kubotai and Y. splendida next week and they will eat up the remaining space in my aquariums...I hope they do go to a good home though.... I would be possibly interested but the aquarium they would go in are home to larger loaches and I would be worried if they wo...

Picked up some of these that I found in Vermont. In the quarantine tank now, seem to be pretty peaceful little guys no?

Yes indeed, mine have been digging around alot of the driftwood and rockwork thats in the tank, they are quite plump now and one of them is especially dark green in coloration, I am assuming thats the dominant individual.....are any of yours a dark green/emerald color?

thanks for the advice MD, it will be noted...yes the Splendida are beautiful yet nasty little things....have yours grown since you got them? Mine are turning into very good looking specimens, cream or olive colored bodies with deep/electric yellow tails and black blotches

Hi alll, I am considering adding some Yunnanilus to a 90 gallon tanking housing 5 B. udomritthiruji, 6. Y. splendida, and 3 Y. caudipunctata + a few dither fish....do you think Yunnanilus is too small for this tank and would be viewed as food or would they get along ok? I have alot of rockwork and d...

Y. splendida shoal

Hi guys,

I had previously bought 6 Y. splendida, and now I have just bought another 4 specimens to compliment my original shoal. Has anyone kept them in large numbers such as 10-12? Does their behavior change?

I am keeping them witih 3 Y. caudipunctata and 1 Y. eos. in a 90 gallon
