not the slightest idea, but these dudes look really cool! Think they're a loach?

Its day 12. with 33 degree celcius. I am no longer seeing whitespot on loaches. Its amazing clown loaches can still survive 33 deg celcius. Otocinclus too. They are eating well and clicking stick with it, as many told me, keep after it for at least a week until you feel it really has left the tank....

I used black trashbags, call me cheap, but its actually looks good. I was hesitant to paint it and this served as a happy medium

LFS had 2 straitias, brought them home and added them to quarentine. Ill order another 8 Monday.

Either add fish or keep dosing ammonia...maybe only to 1 ppm. You're tank is cycled. It "should" be able to get rid of 1 or 2 ppm ammonia in 24 hours...but test & adjust ammonia as needed, you may not need to dose every day. What's your plan for adding fish? What species & how many? You want rock s...

0 ammonia
0 nitrite
20 nitrate

What next??

Dang it saw fish flashing again today. Now that I have a master test kit i'm going to look at the water quality parameters and see if there is something else going on that I've been missing

.25 ppm ammonia
.5 ppm nitrite
10 ppm nitrate

Yesterday was 2ppm ammonia and 0 on nitrites/nitrates.

I suspect ill go to 0 ppm ammonia tomorrow at this rate. Should i add more ammonia tomorrow if thats the case???

Sidenote: Is that LFS in Hammond indiana any good? It's one of the few in the area I haven't been able to check out. I've visted most of the stores in the Chicago area and I think I'd only buy from 3-4 out of the ones I've visited. Not sure, I don't make out that way very often - it's about 2 hours...
