I've had a feather fin Syno for a while now - He's been slightly lethargic these past few days and swimming at the surface. Oxygen seems to be fine. I used to dangle a pieces of thread into the water for my Dojo to swim around - for food treats... after a few weeks I could stick the thread into the water in any part of the tank and he would swim upto it and swim around. I can't think of any other "toys" at the moment.

I was only interested in the live stock. Although Dorset is 4 hrs away so I'll have to give it a miss. Good Luck in rehoming them.

I've started treating for Ich - using half strength medicine and Temp upto 30. I have also added another air stone so the oxygen should be fine. Thank you all for your help! I've got a UV filter I can start running on the Q tank - would that alone get rid of the Ich or would I still need meds? All my fish nibble at strawberries and raspberries - although the BN's and the rainbows seem to really Love them. I'd say Melon and Potatoe is more my loaches choice

Thank you chefkeith, these are all points pet shops tend to fail to tell new clown loach owners. Is there anyway we can have this as a sticky? Or add it into an existing sticky?

I really like the idea of the country classifications - it will clarify which loaches would portentially be living together in the wild and thus share hibitat and water quality. I'm not too sure about LC numbers, Just purely because there is such a range of loaches - some of which are un-identified ...
