Well I don't believe it but my LFS just got another surprise shipment of kubotai, this batch the fish are slightly bigger than the previous batch which I got in on. I guess I'll be bringing some more home this week 8) It was interesting, and I've never seen this before, but the kubs were greyed out ...

Great looking fish. The same thing just happened to me last weekend. I walked into the store, saw three little noses, moved the wood, and was blown away by six beautiful kubotai, all about 4-5'. This store rarely has loaches in stock and when they do they are very small and usually skinny and ill, I...

Aquaclear 70's can adjust the amount of flow, can you turn the flow down anymore or is it already down all the way?

May I ask what a jammy sod is? It's got a nice ring to it and I'd love to use it at work while messing with my guys. It's fun using insults which the victim doesn't understand

Good finds! I picked up some real young Botias about a month ago sold as kubotai. This shop usually only carries kubotai and clowns so they're probably kubs. They do look like histies however, I'm anxious to see what they end up turning out to be.

qumqats could you go into detail about the workings of your filtration in the second picture? I'm beginning to plan my own custom filtration and intend to have it set up in July because I am moving again. I figure getting it up and running with my tanks at the new house is perfect timing, but I'm ti...

Petsmarts all over the country have been getting very small/young kubotai in the past month or two. They all have undeveloped patterns since they are so young, many of them are under an inch TL, too small for a place like Petsmart to be selling them. Nevertheless, I rescued five youngins a few weeks...

I didn't know he played Phish, but wouldn't recognize their music anyway. Maybe I'll give them a chance one of these days? Years ago, my best friend's friend attended a party hosted by one of the band members and supposedly saw William Frakes from Star Trek doing a bong hit. I would've been so temp...

I love Lotsoffish! That seller has great fish, and the fact that he/she has 2001 by Phish on his/her current Botia kubotai auction page makes him/her even cooler! I'm a huge Phan (they're back btw!) 8)

I use a RTM (I like it Diana 8) ) in all of my tanks which are at least 4 feet in length or longer. I highly recommend building one, especially if you keep loaches. I use 3/4" pvc, typically three full length pipes with two up-pipes on each end for intake and two on the other end for powerheads. I t...

Tattooing... I saw several tattoo'd mollies in a shop in Wilmington, NC six days ago... one said "love" in pink down it's side and another had a pink heart.... SICK, I'd love to punch the person who started this crap.
