Cool, looks great Martin!! :D You really should shrink those 2 large images near the bottom though. Looking at the Google stats, 50% of our viewers have monitors running at a size of 1024x768. (In fact, 10% have even smaller monitors, but I'm not designing my site for that audience). But, this means...

Martin Thoene wrote:So Jeff....If I put Clown Loach (Chromobotia macracanthus) as the title, that will work Ok and give search-engines something to chew on?
Sure, that's perfect!

Martin: Just a thought. We should probably put the common name in the species profile title field. You know, something like "Chromobotia macracanthus (Clown Loach)" The reason is: Google and other search engines give the web page title high priority in a search. I definitely want a search for "Clown...

I'm having fun (not) with that Clown gif. Sometimes it will paste in easy, sometimes not. What happens is I hit paste and it appears for a millisecond, then reverts to an image box? Another time, it will just paste over no problem? Are you copying from a different place at different times? When I p...

Hey, the species index is looking great Martin!! I've added image search and animated loach footers to all 12 species profiles created thus far. The hillstream profiles look fantastic! :D

Another thing I discovered that's neat. I looked in and saw the change, so went and found your sub-folder. I think that's cool because we'll be aware of changes. How's that bamboo growin'? Martin. I love the recent updates section too! That's the only way I can keep track of things! (That, and it's...

Hmmmm.....that changing around of stuff based on screen size is a bit of a pain. It can certainly mess up what looks to me like a tidy ensemble of text and pictures. Knowing that there's no page size limit I may just go back and edit again with larger sized images inline. Sounds like a plan. Funnil...

I've noticed that if you link from here, certainly on my computer, to a species profile you can only see the picture and the Notes.....no Summary??? It's just blank. That's weird, it works fine for me. Try hitting reload on your browser. Maybe it cached an incomplete page. I've gotta work on the ca...

Martin: I revised your 'back-to-species-index' link a bit by getting rid of the black box, and putting it in a table to it can float next to the photo search link. See http://community.loaches.com/species-index/aborichthys-elongatus Let me know if you like it. Actually, if you like it, you can stop ...

Don't worry, Martin! I'll try it again when I've got rid of this migraine I've got...... I'm finding this a lot more difficult than the M/A sites I've been working on. Your River Tank stuff looks great, btw. Em Hi Emma, I think you created a new image without uploading the image ...

Also, after uploading all the photos for that species, I go into Contents for that file and tick each entry box, then hit the change status tag to publish them. It seems they won't be publically viewable unless you publish. Same goes for profiles and articles. If you look at Gastromyzon unknown04, ...

I moved those article photos to the appropriate file and deleted the original versions in the Species Photos. For some reason I lost 3 of my pictures within the article, but I managed to re-insert them again. I found some weird things were happening occasionally. Sometimes I saved and the saved fil...

I tried adding a photo for that article but I think I may have added it in the wrong place (told you I have a lot to learn with this computer stuff :? ). I've tried deleting it but it won't let me. I have been having a few problems with my ISP today, so don't know if that's why it won't let me dele...
