I've never seen spam claiming knowledge of the whole universe before.
I didn't realise that any spiny eels stayed that small... *starts to plan another tank*

Re: Dritfwood Display tank
That really is a gorgeous piece of wood and I'm sure the tank is going to be spectacular but...why did you cut it down?! Surely that wood deserved a bigger tank so you didn't have to lose any of it!

Re: Lighting...
I've got very bright T5 on my tank and all of the loaches are out constantly, showing no fear whatsoever. About a third of the surface is covered in floating plants (I call them water lettuce but I don't know what it really is) but they show no particular preference for being there over the exposed ...

Re: How big is your biggest clown loach?

As for dithers, I've found none better than harlequin rasboras. A decent shoal of adults is quite a ...

Re: Aquarium safe paint
Are you able to contact other aquariums to find out what they've used in similar circumstances? London aquarium did a massive refurb a year or two ago, so may have recent experience with this.

Cold water fish suggestions
Hi all. I threw together a cold water tank a couple of months ago for some cold water river fish. The tank is currently holding around 15C although it'll probably go a bit higher in summer. Anyway, the rocks are getting a covering a biofilm and I was wondering if there were any fish people could thi...
