Hiding kuhli's.
My kuhli's have been hiding for a little over a week. Before this they were out and about in the tank, playing in the leaf litter and doing loach stuff. I tested the water, ammonia and nitrite were 0, nitrate 10, PH 6.8. There's no spots, flicking on the decor, sores, thinness or any such. They look...

The fry have been growing out in that tank for about 3 months. I have not added any new fish or any plants to the tank. I have no idea really where it came from. I'm thinking it may be stress related, I was sick and the tank went a couple days longer between water changes then usual. I just noticed ...

Ich outbreak in fry tank.
Like the subject says, I have ich in my fry tank. Currently in the tank are some guppy, platy and cherry barb fry. I have been slowly raising the temp. in the tank, currently at 83 degrees. Is this to high for the cherry barbs or can I go higher? I have been dosing the tank with Aquari-sol but so fa...

I didn't think they were planaria, I have these in my shrimp tank. These worms are round, 1/2'', thin, and like I said white. So I guess like bslindgren said they're most likely a nematode or round worm. I don't think I'm over feeding and I even skip days, and the loaches eat everything within 2 min...

Thin white worm.
I saw a worm of some sort in my yoyo tank last night. It was about half an inch long, white and thin like a hair. I thought it was a cat hair, but it started to swim in an s like motion. I haven't seen it since so I can't get a pic, if I do I'll try to, although I'm not sure it will come out with my...

I have critters in my shrimp tank, I believe them to be daphnia and planaria. I did at one point have hydra attached to the air tube in the tank but I replaced it and haven't seen them since, didn't want them getting my shrimplets. The bugs swimming around in the tank don't bother me, which is good....

After reading the posts on here, I decided to give the homemade food a try. My yoyos, kuhlies and plecos love it. The platys and cherry barbs I have raised myself like it, they are used to boiled kale in their diet. The platys and cherry barbs I have gotten from my lfs will not touch it, guess they ...
