well, the ice flow will be gone soon... sooooo, man, lots of things are going to disappear.

we have no idea how global warming is going to affect the gulf stream and the fishes. we can only guess.

goodluck. we need more marine biologists. the marine fish population is truely in trouble. most people don't care about it as much as the gorillas, panda or even whales because we see fish as merely emotionless, uncomplicated food. danios are pretty fast and they got eaten? sorry can't help you if danios are eaten.

you might want bala sharks? they get pretty big so they might stand a chance with the clowns.

next time try seeded water melons. the seeds are tasty too and nutritious. the seed shells might be too hard but those are huge clowns. Do they have teeth?

interesting.. so it's pretty humid in there.
java ferns are slow growing but mine is a monster. It's over 14 inches tall. it's also 6-7 years old.

hmmm.. i ask because I have java ferns here that have grown large enough to stick out of the water but the part that sticks out dries up.

wow. a 125 gallon tank. it might be better to move some of the smaller fish to a smaller tank and treat them there.. you'll spend less on meds that way. Having a sick/hospital tank is always good. and it's always difficult to try to treat all fish the same and expect them all to have the same result...

don't forget to give those plants and its roots a good rinse before putting it in your tank. Plant's can carry snails, and diseases. Check the tank where the plants are kept at the fish store for sick or dead fish. They shouldn't have fish in there at all actually but some stores put them in there a...

you might want to have really fast growing plants too. Plants love ammonia & nitrite. Duckweed, hornwort, java fern (not fast growing but a staple).. These plants aren't too picky with lighting & substrate.

ha, you try catching a clown in a river.....it's hard enough catching one in a tank.

although i have fond memories of just scooping up little unidentified fish out of puddles in vietnam. It definitely wasn't a loach.
