Loaches Online Forum

My little cousin works in a pet store and one of the customers traded in two of these little loaches. My cousin asked me to take them because the shop has no idea what they are and they aren't going to sell them. I'm having the same issue... I think it may be Schistura obeini , but I'm not an expert...

Haha gross. It's crazy, the kinds of things that we have living in our deep seas, lakes and oceans that we probably don't even know about!

I picked up two of these cute little guys from my local fish shop yesterday. Has anybody kept them before?

Pimelodus pictus are great fish. But I agree, they should be in a longer tank if possible; they like to zip around like little lightning bolts!

BGK are gorgeous! I plan to get one too when I get my larger tank.

Perhaps some larger silver dollars? I've never kept them myself but have know people who have and they seem to do well together.

Raphael cats are cute, and I doubt any fish is bold enough to try and eat them!

Do black ghost knives max out at around 22'' or so? How big is your BGK, and how is he/she with the clowns? How do you think a few Stripped Raphael cats would do in this kind of set up?
