Need help identifying this loach

My little cousin works in a pet store and one of the customers traded in two of these little loaches. My cousin asked me to take them because the shop has no idea what they are and they aren't going to sell them. I'm having the same issue... I think it may be Schistura obeini , but I'm not an expert...

Haha gross. It's crazy, the kinds of things that we have living in our deep seas, lakes and oceans that we probably don't even know about!

MICROGLANUS POECILLUS - Bumble Bee cats

I picked up two of these cute little guys from my local fish shop yesterday. Has anybody kept them before?

Pimelodus pictus are great fish. But I agree, they should be in a longer tank if possible; they like to zip around like little lightning bolts!

BGK are gorgeous! I plan to get one too when I get my larger tank.

Perhaps some larger silver dollars? I've never kept them myself but have know people who have and they seem to do well together.

Raphael cats are cute, and I doubt any fish is bold enough to try and eat them!

PUNTIUS NIGROFASCIATUS - Black Ruby Barb...Tank mates?

My fish store is getting these guys in soon. I looked them up online and they look very nice. I'd like to add them to my 33 gallon with my current tiger barbs (I have a single male Kribensis in there too, I had nowhere else to put him) . Does anybody know if they'll all school together? And if not, ...

Do black ghost knives max out at around 22'' or so? How big is your BGK, and how is he/she with the clowns? How do you think a few Stripped Raphael cats would do in this kind of set up? My sister-in-law has 2 of them in her tank and I think they're so cute(they're kind of like living rocks though......

Getting my 200 gallon sooner than I thought; suggestions?

I was expecting to have enough room for a 180 in about a year, but as it turns out I got a 200 gallon for a good price, and we just bought a house so I'll only have to wait another few months before I can start setting it up :) I've only really kept African cichlids, tiger barbs, RTS, pictus cats & ...

The water where I lives tends to be on the softer side, and the PH is pretty low too ( I had a tricky time getting it to an acceptable level for my African cichlids). I've done some reading and have decided against the Rams and the Kribs. At the moment my tank is housing my Pictus cat and RTS; I'm g...

I guess I will wait until I have the 180g before I get Clown Loaches; as much as I love them it really isn't fair if I force them to live in an aquarium too small for them... My RTS is just over 3 inches now. I remember reading that their size usually maxes out around 6 inches. Is her current size e...

Trying to set up a soft water tank; suggestions or advice?

Hi. I'm new here so please forgive me or redirect me if this is posted in the wrong place... I have a 55 gallon with some African cichlids (and a 20 with tiger barbs >_>) and now I'm trying to start a soft water one to accommodate my love for clown loaches, Kribs and khuli loaches. The tank I'm sett...
