Powerhead spec and my loaches video

I'm buying the powerhead this morning so a rapid reponse would be handy! I've a 36 gallon tank (I am currently planning a 100 gall to replace it) with 6 4-5" long clowns in it. I want to buy a/some powerheads but I'm not surte what flow rate to specify. I've seen Emma's posts basically saying buy th...

I have also used this treatment and now swear by it. I tried levamisole four times before deciding that it didn't do the trick for "my type of worms". I lost four clowns to skinny whilst I was using levamisole. As soon as I used wormer plus the remaining clown was wormed. It took a few months to fee...

Hi Diana,
I've no specific objective other than to use up a mountain of the stuff that I've bought! It's a "tap water tank" heavily planted, no issues with it just fancied trying it.

ok, latest update. I'd cured the bamboo I had, removed all of it barr one large piece the my large clown took up residence in. However, where the bamboo sat, the sand went all black and the bamboo must have begun to rot. I've pulled the plug on the whole plan now; too many water quality issues assoc...

Can I use activated carbon and CO2 injection?

Not for my loach tank but for a planted one in which I have three zebra loach amongst other tiny fish.

Secondly, would the carbon strip out any water borne fertiliser I might add?

It's an external heater and it's new. The issue was that I stripped all the pipes down and in doing so evidently knocked the temp dial which is very easily rotated. User error in this case. Thanks for the tip, I'd have been raising the temp a few degrees per day

Tank temps at 20 degs C / 68F

I've managed to knock my heater last tie I did a water change. The tank temp has fallen from 83 F to 68F. Anything I should be concerned about? How quickly can I raise the temps?

FGP - chefkeith

HI Chef, I saw your note on the above company and thought I might get some medicated flake. Shipping costs to the UK are quite high, I can move 3lb for a certain cost. Would you be able to recommend the foods your clowns seem to make the most of from FGP? I can then order some up and see how mine li...
