Re: No need water change 0 nitrate?
There's one thing more. We have to remember about the water hardness in the situation like that. When water evaporates - that's clear H2O. All salts, which increase the hardness still remain in the tank. We have to remember about that. Of course when we refill evaporated water with 100% RO water tha...

Yep, as I wrote, it can indicate that Your loaches are in a good shape :) 24"lx12"wx16"h That's not good, cause the most important thing is length (and also width) of a tank. The height doesn't have a ...

Re: I am new and messed up
Hello! :) It's always bad idea to buy loaches as an 'antidote' for snails. But if You are after this decision, and you became 'loachholic' (as I can see  ) that's good - now it's just only Your task to provide them a suitable tank. River tank for G.ctenocephalus
Hi everyone! I'm going to start a new tank - for hillstream loaches. I was thinking about S.lineolata , but here in Poland it's hard to get them, so i have chosen Gastromyzon ctenocephalus because it is more common and relatively cheap. I want to imitate their natural habitat as good as possible and...
