Hi,
I am in the UK, does anyone please know where I could obtain some of these?
Thank you,

Fancy goldfish tank
Hello everyone, I am setting up a long 40 gallon fancy goldfish tank. I already have a large Black Moors and plan to get perhaps one or two more. My problem is how to decorate it, what do fancy goldfish need in their tank, do they like bubbles from an air stone? Real plants or plastic ones, any help...

A planted tank without snails is this possible???
I would love to put real plants in the tank I am planning for kuhli loaches, but whenever I have tried to have a planted tank no matter how much I wash the plants beforehand the tank always ends up completely covered in snails!! I wonder how others manage it or whether it is possible at all??? Val

Re: Best filter for kuhlis
Oh yes I definitely would, I think fish look really cute playing in bubbles my corydoras also like bubbles!!021414 wrote:
In that case, you may want to use a small powerhead or a bubbler to create some kind of water movement for the Kuhlis.

Re: Best filter for kuhlis
Thank you so much for your help, if I am going to use an external filter it would be more convenient for me if it stood on a separate table so I think I will look at the Fluval external range here in the UK, but thank you again.

Re: Best filter for kuhlis
Well I can't find Aquaclear 50 here in the UK so would have to use a different external.

Re: Best filter for kuhlis
If I use an Aquaclear would I need a power head as well to make some 'current'?

Best filter for kuhlis
Hi,
I am thinking of keeping some kuhli loaches in a 20 gallon long. I usually use internal Fluval filters but I'm worried they might go into the water outlet against the current, is this likely? I would like to use the Fluval so should I cover the outlet to be sure!!

Re: What is this growing in my tanks?
It does look like a small grey coloured lacy moss. I also have these very tiny white things on the glass which seem to move, I've got it in both my goldfish tank and my tropical tank.

What is this growing in my tanks?
Hi everyone, Haven't been around for a while, I moved house & successfully moved my fish as well!!! Can anyone tell me what this sticky lacy stuff is that is growing in my tanks? it is on the plastic plants and also in the filters, it doesn't seem to harm the fish at all just looks unsightly. Thank ...

Re: Keeping fish in a translucent tank.
Hi, Thanks for that reply it gives you more confidence if it has worked for someone else. Did you put anything else in the tubs with the fish whilst they were travelling? like some plants, either real or artificial? just wondering if the cories would feel happier if they could hide under something. ...

Keeping fish in a translucent tank.
Hi everyone, When I move house I shall be putting my remaining fish, tetras & corydoras into a large translucent plastic container. On arrival it would be most convenient for me if I could top up the water in this container, add filtration and heating and leave them in it for about 24hrs. This would...
