the leaves are falling again, I've vistited the same mountain as last year (posting from last year), but this year it seems to have been colder there much earlier ... laugh about me, but I find brush-algae beautiful - as long as they don't grow on plants. I even bought some root that was full of it, but the algae died. It is also a good "home" for microorganisms. So you are lucky :D With a strong plant growth they disappear. I add fertilizer only to the substrate...

I have 2 that looked like "typical rainbows" when they were younger but in the last year or two they showed mainly in blue and partially almost velevet-black. Unfourtunately colours don't seem to help at all definig their ID.

I coincidently got a surviving youngster.
