Remember that you shouldn't feed while you have nitrites, as this may be the reason you have it in the first place, but also because it makes it worse.

Kuhlii - what's wrong?

So, I have a friend with a weird looking kuhlii. It's got some weird white layer thats wrinkly, coating its head. It's behaving as usual. It's fat and healthy as the pictures shows. Any idea of what it can be? http://i532.photobucket.com/albums/ee330/Johanskin/Kuhliinrmre.jpg http://i532.photobucket...

So, yet again I got something I think I'm not supposed to have  Anyways: I went to one of the LFS I usually don't go to, to get 4 Yoyo-loaches. I saw them in a tank and they were all about the same size, very small, but seemed healthy. So I asked them to take 4 of them.. and apparently a loach...

You have the same tank idea as me: Asian tank with botias on the bottom and a school fish. I went with tigerbarbs, at first they were all over the tank but since I added my botia Almorhae (9 of them now) and kubotai (only 3, think im gonna switch these out for almorhae) they are schooling nicely in ...

Thank you Mick! Always good to hear. Today the skinny Botia Kubotai looked really tired and extra skinny, so I took it out, removed the crayfish from my small 9 gallon tank and put it in a bucket. Put my kubotai in the small tank and he seems so happy! He's clicking like crazy and swimming around di...

Thank you guys! Mike: Yea, I decided a while back thanks to loaches.com that I'm going for Kubotais instead. So I went and bought 5 kubotais, only that one of them turned out to be an Almorhae.. so I got those too ;) Lara: Yea, it's "attached" to the wood, or well it's squeezed in between two big ro...

I might just have gotten lucky, my plants are fine! ANyways, today I went to buy 4 more yoyos, which i did. I'll have to live with changing alot o...

Oh, you mean gallons, then say so! ;) 138x41x61 CM. I know its 350 litres anyway. Are you sure I need that much waterchanges? It's gonna be hard as I'm using a plant growth thingie, so i give the plants alot of nutrition, then i do a big waterchange to remove some of the nutrition not used, and then...

Yoyo loaches + botia kubotai

Well, as simple as:

Will 6 botia kubotai work with 5 yoyo loaches in a 93 gallon tank? I accidentaly got 4 kubotais and 1 yoyo instead of 5 kubotais from the store, and I've fallen in love with the yoyo, messing my tank up.

Thanks!

Johan
