I can only speak from personal experience but I have never had a problem when adding new clowns to my school. Like yourself I can't resist the ones with unusual markings, I have them ranging from 2" to 10" all living together and the only fights that break out are between the main group that have be...

Well, these guys have been together for over a week now and I have noticed no injuries to any of the fish. The only squabbling has been within same species groups and even this has been light. I recorded them all going loopy over a chunk of cucumber yesterday: - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M9JUdx...

The Modesta have control...

I have a large piece of pvc waste pipe in one of my tanks, I have placed a large piece of flat bogwood in front of it to cover it up which has added extra nooks & crannies for the smaller guys. It is partially buried in the sand (probably 1" of sand covering the bottom of it) which maybe helps it fe...

Mixing loaches
Hi all, I have a question for you, can many different types of loach live together happily? I have had an emergency with a tank which has led me to mix two of my loach communities in the one tank. Previously I had my Clowns, Modesta & YoYos in one tank and my Sids, Kubs & Striata in another, for the...

Couldn't resist
I visited a shop in Farnham for the first time today and found an 8" clown for sale for under £30 so I just had to buy her, she is very chunky & healthy looking: -
