i got some from Emma's shop the same patterns as MDs, the only trouble is Mahdu is they were exported by Patrick and as he's only an exporter he could only give us a vague location as to where they were caught. here's one of my males for comparison with Mark's. http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j25/...

with the size and water volume of your new tank i'd go with fish such as Y cruciatus, rosy loach, kuhlii really any fish that stays smallish.
i set a tank up for my wife with these two species and its worked very well i also added a couple of Sewelia lineolata and they all get on fine together.

stucky, this time of the year is great for picking oak leaves, collect a decent amount of them put them in a filter bag near a flow of water and that will soften your water gradually bud. almond leaves do the same job but you have to buy them. haha

Stucky do you live near to wholesale trop or can you get there, take a phial of water and they will tast it for you and also give you good advice on how to lower your GH. hope this helps mate.
i'm from manchester and don't have probs with our water, in fact i have to add things to raise the GH.
