Moved kuhlis
Everyone seemed to adjust nicely to the move. However, I noticed last night that several of my females no longer have a green belly. I guess they must have aborted as I haven't seen anything unusual in the tank. Of course, the tank is 75% java moss and there's not much you can see except the adults ...

I have four in one tank wherein the larger one ventures out by himself all the time. One other will join him from time to time but I rarely see the other two unless there's food in the tank - like cukes, or zucchini. In another tank I have another 4. I see the smallest one out all the time. I wormed...

Yes, it does take several days for the sand to settle regardless of how much you rinse it. My last tank took a week and I carefully added the water using a plate and bowl. I've only had one tank where it's cleared up in a day. Once the sand settles, it really won't be a problem with the fish stirrin...

I'm hoping the current in my one tank isn't too strong for them. I do have plenty of plants in there so that would protect them somewhat. With any luck the Rosy Loaches will be in the US within a week. They turned up early today on an export list here and he's hoping Sunday. From what I've read on s...

LOL I think that's what got her in this condition to begin with. I came out one morning and found 75% of the water missing in the tank and had to add a major amount of water over a very short period of time. It's been since then that she's grown so bad. She's very obviously uncomfortable. There is o...

I know we've been on this subject before but I am beginning to worry about one of my girls. She's just gotten bigger and bigger and at this point is rather uncomfortable. She actually has a problem sleeping now and when she stops to rest on the bottom tilts to one side alarmingly. She's taken to sle...
