I was gradually moving the rest of my community to the new tank and as the amount of other fish left, their activity increased. By the time I was ready to move them a few weeks later, they were cruisi...

When i got them home, they looked more golden in color. Thomas, Thanks for the insight into the differences between anguillaris...

filter intake sleeve question
Hello all, I recently performed a routine filter maintenace on my HOB filter, which required me to replace the white sponge media. Since I have done this, the filter suction has increased dramatically, causing me to loose a guppy and two of my weaker (smaller) rummy nose tetras. I have read that som...

I notcied that my current spawning of male fancy guppies have bent spines, their grand mothers had it before they expired. I have been observing the second generation of spawnings by their sisters and have not noticed this condition (yet). I thought that this was a natural genetic condtion since all...

Very handsome tank! Thank you for sharing it with all of us! A question though - Do your serpea tetras fin-nip any of their tankmates? I had this happen in my first 10 gallon, and my in-laws had the same issue in their 10 gallon setup, which is why I ask. My father-in-laww heard that this behavior w...
