The shop I bought him from says the Kubotai/Angelicus doesn't seem to need company as much as other botias I'm Sorry but "the shop" sounds like the place i would just drive past and never return to. Hi Jim. I'd suggest using the dried-up, old brown leaves that accumulate under the trees. They become sturdier i believe, last longer under water. They also hold a tropical look when brown. They tend to curl a little bit and make lots of hidey holes and caves/tunnels for the pangio's. Martin's Pangi...

I use a cup full of tank water and place the cubes into the cup. Wait 10-20 minutes with a stir and once they defrost, pour into the tank.

Most definitely not one of the "common" species Shari. At first mine wouldn't go near or attempt to eat commercial preparations (flake/wafers/pellets). But now after a good few months if not nearly a year, they do often have a nibble at them. What they will eat is a varied of insect larvae, crustace...

I see what you mean or i should suggest "i don't see" :? Out of the 12 that is in a 10gal quarantine tank, i've only seen maybe two out and about at any one time.
