The Dither Fish!

I know we all have our own choices of "dither" fish. Whats your personal favorite for our Loaches? Mine has to be the Rasboras and Danio's, with the odd Barb. Whats yours?

Low odour paint shouldn't pose a real problem. What i personally did was to use a electric fan to blow the fumes away from the tank and opened a window. I covered the tank with a blanket to reduce the chance of fumes getting in the tank. And also switched off any "air pumps"

Hi Jim. In the LOL Species index you can see my L. gunthea's which also grew to around 4 inches but i have to agree about these sized specimens. Commonly named as "Giant Pepper Loaches" but mine is also just under 2 inches. After keeping these for around 8 months, they haven't grown much. They look ...

I would suggest that they are still juvenile specimens. Completely normal for them to act this way.
