Re: Video of clowns
Dead calcified worm??? Where would that come from? I was just saying it could be anything...I've read stuff like that could happen. When we treat with worm meds for example, the fish expels stuff from the gut but those anchored in the flesh can stay and actually rot in the fish if the immune system...

Re: Video of clowns
I didn't notice the mouth issue but to be honest it doesn't sound related to me. Perhaps the lump was annoying him so he hit himself of the glass trying to scrape it off or something and then hurt his mouth? I'd just keep the water clean and hope for recovery. It is anyone's guess what the lump is f...

It could be tumor of some sort, etc...If the fish behaves differently, then it is obviously bothered by it but to be honest I don't...

Re: My clown loach pond
Hey Fran. Thanks. The large clown is a female. The shape of the belly is due to her being egg bound. Males are long and slender. That female only started developing the big pouch about a year ago. She's the only one like that in the group but she's also the oldest. I have an old thread here from 201...

Re: 5 CL'S in 4ft 95 gallon tank !?
I personally started with a similar tank size and 5 clown loaches and they stayed there for the first 3-4 years and could have stayed for another bit had the tank not cracked. I also didn't know if I would be able to upgrade as my other half was against.... As long as you don't keep many other fish ...

It should be fine. The FX6 is capable enough to cope with the size of tank. I always have 2 filters but its for redundancy as well in case one fails.
