is the eye cloudy on the inside? or outside? is there any mold or growths on them? Any scratches or tears? - my first instinct would say it is an infection of some sort. You may have had one larger clown sick and the younger ones are now just getting it. I have not had any eye infections in my tanks...

agreed, it could be they are scavenging the fresh meat

Rainbow fish are excellent as well, but generally cost a bit more. I am currently switching over from giant danios to them, if a bit slowly :)

JD? Im guessing you have a Jack Dempsy and an Oscar in that tank? I would not suggest any loach for the tank just based on the personality of those 2 fish alone. Not to mention you would need a large adult loach so it would not be immediatly devoured, either way it would be a fairly expensive experi...

The normal flourite can be more coarse then most would prefer, but I have used it mixed with sand and it worked great. This mixture is in my sump now and baby dwarf tears are growing in it quite well. You can use the Black Sand Flourite to mix with your old sand to make it even better for your loach...

I have Clowns, Dario, Kubs, Yo Yo, and Straita together with no problems. There is some inside bickering and a little between group bickering, but minimal at best. I'm not sure how the sids and modesta behave, but the others will be fine together. A simple rule of aggression with aggressive or terri...

NEW Update video of the tank - I just filmed the loaches reaction to me watching them. They are very friendly and come out when i get near the tank glass. They go even more crazy when i feed them. I originally narrated the filming, but thought i sounded pretty stupid at the end when i started to ru...

I would suggest placing this rogue Clown in with Cichlids 0.O, for it sounds like she would be right at home with them!

well most of my clowns like what would be best described as a crevice or crack. Then they love to play "how many clown loaches can fit in here" Some times all i can see is 4 or 5 red tails from under this or that.. it shocks me they are perfectly fine doing this because it does not look sane. as sca...

most assuredly. All of mine, big and small a like, eat chopped frozen shrimp. It would not take them long to figure out that live shrimp are just as tasty.

Great pictures, my Dario alpha looks every bit as rotund or more as yours. She does have one smaller Dario that fawns after her,, always excited and chasing her, but not in mean way. More of a groupie :)
