Not needy, but we've found that they are picky about their food. We've got one wh...

Sorry to hear that. Losing fish is never easy, especially when it could be prevented. My girlfriend accidently killed a platy-fry a while back and she's not recovered yet!Rychek wrote:This is how I lost my bumble-bee goby. I don't know if it's a huge problem, but you have a lot of bottom-dwellers. As Diana said, Yoyo's (and many other loaches) need to be at least 5 to be happy, and that means that you have 13 bottom-dwellers. Probably not a big deal, especially if you have lots of caves and hide-outs, but it's worth t...

I wouldn't repair such a large crack. I'm sure it could be done properly, but I wouldn't get any sleep at all. If I were in your position, I'd get the bottom replaced by someone who either build aquariums, or work with similar type glass-constructions, or buy a new tank. I can promise you that the c...

 I've stripped tanks down to the bare bottom in panic several times, picking through gravel and filter media. Only once did I not find everyone -- one of my beloved ADFs, whom I suspect the angelfish ate. One time I lifted out the big plastic log to clean it, not realizing a kuhli was inside! ...

We've got three kuhlii's, and only one of them come out for feeding and such. He had not been out for a month until like a week ago. Now he's out searching for food regularly. I haven't checked the filter yet, but I suspect that they are hiding underneath our anubia (like the active one does when no...
