Very sorry to hear the bad news Vance. I was just getting to know your gorgeous Beauforti from your photos. He was a beauty and it appears that you provided him with a very long and pampered life.

Best of luck with your new babies. :)

Any possibility of putting a gutter on the part of the roof that would drain into the pond and directing the runoff somewhere else?

Marcos - That's a clever setup you have going there! Moving buckets around will kill anybody's back and sooner or later there is always going to be a spill. 8) I have my own unique setup going that avoids lugging any water around. I use a holding tank which is a 65 gallon garbage can that I fill up ...

I have the universal adapter, but it still wont work. I have two different python adapters for inside threaded faucets here at the house that I don't use. They came with my python kit. They both transfer to fit to the brass adapter that fits to the green garden hose size fitting. One from a larger ...

I used to use a python, but since we changed the sink faucets I have been unable to find an adapter that works. The threads on the new sink are on the inside not outside. Anyone now of an adapter that will fit? Try this page from Drs. Foster & Smith http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_displa...

Would that be the winged type wild turkey or the missing soon to be ex Governor of Alaska Sarah Palin type turkey?

I would be cautious about boiling PVC. PVC is not made for hot water. They make special CPVC to use for hot water installations and is yellowish in color. I don't know what the effect is, but it is possible that boiling it might actually cause it to release chemicals that would otherwise be inert at...

I think I would take him back. He isn't going to be a good mix with the oscar and the severums, and usually 5 clowns is the minimum for them to be happy. Or set up a new tank to the conditions for clown loaches and get a bunch of them and then you can really enjoy what great fish they are. There is ...

Looking good Dave! Sorry about your skinny - but as you said, that's an assumed risk. The tank looks great and that driftwood has cleaned up nice.

Congrats on a very well thought out setup! :D
