i dont know if they are available in the US but if they are i doubt they would be freshwater but defo worth setting up a brackish tank for them thats for sure, there is also the silver scat but they do get real big where the red gets to about 6" max, im really lucky the guy has been working on them ...

nope its a red scat they are actually a brackish fish but a friend of mine who breeds them has slowly developed them to fresh water so i got 2 a few years back they are fantastic and full of colour as they actually change colour from day to day they are fantastic and full of enjoyment, im hoping to ...

wouldnmt think they would to be honest i had them in a tank with firebelly newts for about a year or so and the axis never nipped the newts at all and they are a hell of a lot smaller then the loaches, i think my bigger fear would be if the loaches nipped at the gills of the axis as they are very de...
