Some questions involving loaches...
Well,I've finnally found something to specialize in in the hobby,and that would be (drumrole please).....LOACHES!!!!!I want to collect and keep as many sepecies as possible.I have 4,any recomendations?I have kubotia,yoyo,clown,and sinibotia longiventralis.Also,I want to have something else in the 55...

Well what do you know?A few days after posting I never see those,I went to a pet store and found 2 adorable little guys,and I got them at a prett good price!I have them in my 55 gallon tank with m 3 clowns and my common pleco.The took to the tank pretty quickly,I should be getting some pictures soon.

Moving some loaches...is it safe?
I hae 3 clown loaches and a yoyo loach,as well as 3 synodontis nigriventris,in a 26 gallon tank.I am planning on moving them into a 55 gallon that currently houses a common pleco.The Ammonia and nitrite are 0,and with just one 3 and 1/2 inch pleco the nitrate can't be very high,since he's only been ...

How do you tell about "doc"
I have a cycled 55 gallo tank which I am planing on having a few clown loaches in,and I'm saving for a bigger one.I read that clowns are sensitive to dissolved organic compounds,and I wanted to know how you test for those.

I have what I think is a sinobotia pulchra.However,it also looks like an s. longiventralis.How do you tell the difference?Are hey really just the same species?
