Congratulations!!!!

That is wonderful!

Can you tell us how many adults you have, and what the tank parameters were? Were you trying to breed them or did it happen while you weren't looking?

Ten (a cautionary tale)

The other day we were at the dump. Cloudhands was thowing out the trash, and I took the glass over to the recycling. "Oh No!" there next to the recycling was a very nice-looking tall tank, seemingly intact. Seems to be a 45 gallon, and seems to be holding water. So now we have TEN fishtanks. (and a ...

Well, the amanos have clearly done well in the loach tank, as the two biggest ones were preggers! Cloudhands removed them just in time, and now we have a salt-water tank full of tiny little amano "babies" (forget what they are called at this stage, before they become shrimplets)

It's funny, because in our 120 gallon the Striata are definitely the bullies, and we have no shy fish. There are plenty of hiding places, but, at least in daytime, everyone is always out and about and not hiding. Cloudhands is even threatening to move the Striata to a different tank because they are...

And now I am home, and the fish are in a dark tank and hiding. Except for the danios, who seem to be pretty frisky and enjoying the current in the q-tank. :( The danios are still quite small. I do LOVE our Kyathits, though -- they have colored up so impressively! Hopefully the Tinwinis will do as we...
