Agree with starting with Craig's list, but be forewarned, fishkeeping is a slippery slope into multiple-tank madness (from one fish in one tank to 7 tanks ranging from 10 gallons to 120 gallons in 5 months flat....)

We have CPDs in our kuhli tank, and they are great!

We've gone low-tech and just wrapped them in a mesh fabric. Doesn't look as neat as the screen inside, but it works.

Any more info on care than is in the book/on Loaches.com? How big a tank do they like? Will they play well with Sewallia, gastromyzons, etc?

How long does it take for MTS to multiply? And how will I recognize the babies and not suck them up when I vac the q-tank?

we've been watching this thread with interest. as our tank numbers explode they are now on our purchase list, as soon as we find a good supplier AND have adequate q-tank space....

Our Botia used to feed upside down on the surface when they were skinny little things. Now that they have fattened up it seems to no longer suit them
