Yes looks exactly like that kub pic..my botia I mean. My dojo def. needs a friend I have had him for 5 years and he has always been the only. Does my botia need friends to?

My botia is the kind sold at petsmart I have no idea which kind he looks like umm black with kinda yellowish spot and stripes.

Dithers for loaches?

I just this very evening found out what a dither fish is. Do loaches need these and besides tetras and danios are there others? Heres my tank info 100g 6ft long 350g filter 72 deg 5 clowns 1 pleco 6-7 inch about a million guppies lol..j/k about 30 1 dojo...looking for a friend but I can only find al...

Where I get my fish they told me that they are told to tell people that dragon gobies and mollies are freshwater fish and not to even mention the word brackish. And they wonder why the gobies ALWAYS die in the store ><.

I would think that you could try your local Petsmart or Petco, I prefer Petsmart. The ones where I live only sell black but I live in Cali. Also I like Petsmart and Petco because if the unfortunate happens they have a GREAT return police. Good luck!

Okay I have been looking everywhere for a kh and hardness test with no luck. ALL the hardness tests I find are linked with ph tests. My nitrite is zero nitrates are 20 or lower and ammonie a smidge high. Is kh what they call it in California cause when ever I ask they look at me like I have lost my ...

I know PetSmart's in my area, southern California, only sell albino dojo's and black khuliis and clown's. The only thing they get on accident that I have seen is crawdad's with the feeder goldfish.

Thank you guys...I just may have to set another aquarium OH NO lol. Any good ideas on tank mates for him and would he bo okay in a 20 gallon. And yes all those fish are together in 95-100 gallon tank...but hopefully not for long.

He looks alot like my dojo/weather loach aka Misgurnus anguillicaudatus. If that is not what he is then I hope the info will at least lead you in the right direction....Actuly his mouth may be larger then mine but it is kind of hard to tell.
