Just to share some old pix of my "the other" Botia sp. - Chinese loach. Hi again amiidae, Are you keeping these on their own, or do you have them in with other species? If so, how have they been initially interacting with them? E T, i picked up one (the one in the pix) and another 2 on the following day.

That loach is abt 5inchers and they do have a compressed body shape.
