We've also had good luck with PetSolutions - but I have to admit it's frustrating living within 5 miles of them and not being able to walk in and pick orders up. They say they're not zoned properly for it :?. What a minute..... .....you mean to tell me that you live 5 minutes from PetSolutions and ...

My clowns love shrimp!!!!!
And I don't mean the stuff from the pet store. I bought som pre-cooked frozen shrimp from the fish market for Christmas and decided to try and feed some to the loaches...they love it (I thawed it first of course)! I put some in the clown tank and some in the skunk and yoyo tank and both tanks devour...

If you are looking for good things to feed your loaches and/or fish, you might want to check into this: http://www.corysrus.com/boyds.htm Thats some good stuff right there. I know it says for corydoras, but I feed it to my loaches too. My loaches love Wardley's slow sinking cichlid crumbles. I grab...

Dropping a frozen cube of bloodworms (or anything else) is far from natural. Thawing the food out in tank water will allow a much more natural presentation.

You might try what I do. I take a length of 3/8" rigid plastic aquarium tubing cut to allow me to easily reach the bottom of the tank. I stuff defrosted bloodworms into the end and then put a finger over the other end. Did you ever, as a kid, use a drinking straw as a siphon and draw liquid into it...

Water Softener Pillow
Has anybody used the Water Softener Pillow made by Doc Wellfish? If so, should I expect to see any other water parameter changes by adding this into the mix?
Thanks

While I do appreciate the concern, I don't think this guy has CWS. It's not that he looks skinny or emaciated, just smaller. Every time I've added multiple fish to a tank like this they grow at different rates. Can loaches other than clowns develop CWS? Has anybody seen this in other fish? I will tr...
