I guess it's like us getting a cold..
Humans, that is...we're exposed to the germs alot, but only when we're already having lower immune systems, will we actually develop it.... I'm really grateful that I had not moved my betta, Sid, into the big tank prior to seeing the ich outbreak...I was planning on doing it that night! He's safe an...

Ich again
Only showing on the goldens' fins, not bad, but that's what we thought last time right before we lost a golden loach, horribly.... Have a UV filter now, and am treating ICH at 1/3 prescribed with meds, no carbon, lower water level, higher temp, and extra oxygenation. Stats are great in water; testin...

We've got 3 golden dojo loaches . I'll just keep picking the things off the walls when I find em, and continue with a fast day every few days so that they fishes clean the bottom up and don't have any "freebies" for the snails down there....

SNAILS!?
Along with Ich, a parasitic infection, and a couple of plants, I believe that our ex LFS also included some SNAILS free of charge. Generous -_-. They are small and dark. The loaches and other fish don't know that they are food. I pick them out when I can, but with such a deep tank, I can't get them ...

Hi Chrissy!
What about making a post in the "non fishy forum" here..? I sure would like to see any projects that might be cool/financially helpful! And I KNOW that the people on LoL are some smart cookies, so you'll all probably have some great projects...

Beautiful youtube video, spawning golden dojo's...
I found a couple of gorgeous youtube vids which showed golden loaches spawning behavior and actual egg release. what a privilege to see this....but it made me very sad, as well. My first two goldens were doing this same thing for a week or so....then the male got ill and died. The synchro swimming i...

Cruelty to any animal is abhorrent
And i think that mankind is the only species to practice it.
Small wonder that I *MOSTLY* think people just plain suck.
