Haven,t tried peas yet, is that thawed frozen peas, do you cook them first? I 've so far tried mine on courgette, cut one medium size into four. I also cut the skin off but there are so many different ways on Youtube then I boiled the pieces for 3 minutes, dried off and cooled down and they LOVED IT...

I poured a small amount of vinegar on the rock and it didn't " Fizz " or react at all, so doesn't that show that there isn't much calcium carbonate in it?? or isn't this a reliable test?

I live out in the sticks here so getting fish/supplies is a bit of a trip I see that you can buy frozen fishfood online but obviously by the time it reaches me it's going to be soft/melting, is it OK to refreeze it? would it harm the fish at all?

I have glued some plants on pieces of driftwood and also a pebble. I used Superglue Gel and followed instructions from Youtube.
