Sorry for your loss. Shrimp, dog, or fish, losing animals is never fun.

I've only seen them in real life once, and then they were 120sek, or 125. We found them at ~160sek on an online stocklist. It's hard to say why they seem less expensive here, but maybe Finland have higher taxes for importing animals to shops? I don't know. Just for comparison: A Clown loach cost bet...

Thanks for the wishes Jonas! Dwarf loaches are quite expensive here, too, they cost about 20 euros per fish. How much are they in Sweden? It was lucky for me I got them as a birthday present as I would never had probably dared to try them if I would have had to pay the 140 euros myself. In Sweden t...

Hi, and welcome to the forum! Sids are nice, too bad they're really expensive here in Sweden, I'd get some if they weren't.

Have seen such ones here in India. They are sold as B striata. But the markings are definitely different from the ones I have seen before. Was almost ready to buy them till I noticed the difference. Okay! Yeah I first thought they were Striata too. This is a mystery I have to work out! Still no ans...

Is this really B. Dario?

When searching through a store, we found these little buggers. He told us they were B. Dario, but I'm not sure. What do you guys think?

Hello, and welcome Anthony! As Clint said, they won't contribute much to the bio-load of the tank, so you could have a lot of them.

Our kubs are the best in our tank for snail-control. They just stick their snout in the shell and suck 'em out!

Yeah, it's a nice fish! Too bad the owner won't log in to the forum where I wrote to her. A pic in the water would indeed make it easier.

What if the heater is hooked up to a timer? Just run the heater at a higher temp, but shut it off ever 15mins or so. If the heater breaks, it should take longer before the water temps will reach dangerous levels. But then I guess the heater won't last as long.

The same thing happened with one of our platies, and then on of our yoyos. They jumped in the filter (Juwel, so there's a gaping hole between the heater and pump). Getting them out wasn't easy, and I almost gave up on the Yoyo. We've put a piece of filtersponge over the hole so they can't jump in ag...
