I liked it too. Ellen Page was pretty good in Hard Candy too. Totally different type of flick.

I finally saw Letters from Iwo Jima which I thought was very good. On the flip side, don't bother with Flags of our Fathers which really sucked, IMO. I agree. I didn't care much for the Flags movie. I just saw City of God. Liked it a lot. Interesting with respect to the current discussion about Bri...

I've always liked Adam Sandler, though some of his movies are pretty hard to take. But Reign Over Me is a pretty good one & a departure from his normal stuff.

I also just watched We Were Soldiers. Wow, that's a pretty damned gruesome depiction of war. Quite a movie.

It's an older flick but I just watched Sleepers again. Wow, that was a good movie. The author says it is a true story (with himself as the lead character) but the "New York youth correctional authorities and the Manhattan district attorney's office deny that the events in the film took place".

Now there's a suggestion I'll follow. I love Viggo and Cronenburg is usually good too. I've added it to the list.

I just watched Sex and Lucia (LucĂa y el sexo). Really good film. More then a bit of nudity but I liked the story. Seriously.

So did I. Part of the buying process is understanding the water conditions that the fish are coming from.

The float and dump method has worked for me for over 40 years. But I would only use that method for fish purchased from a local shop, with the associated short transit time and even then I put some of the new aquarium water in before I let them go. Funny thing, I did the opposite. For local fish I ...

I'm a long time Discus keeper, but also had a few tanks with an assortment of loaches. Pete is bang on. It's called the grab 'n plop method. I didn't used to even float the bags in the tank. Usually the water in the bags is colder then in your tank, the pH has dropped in the bag or will drop the min...

I've run overflows to sumps in both f/w & s/w tanks. I ran them in f/w using overflow boxes & drilled tanks. In general a 1" pipe in an overflow box will drain 600gph. (larger pipes will carry substantially more flow, a 1.5" pipe is about double that, a 2" about 4x). Since the box has a large area f...

Sure, flaunt your purchases on the forum. Not everyone can afford that series you know. You'd better have rented it dude.
