Hi Emma, I am in Boston, Massachusetts. I tried to track down Levamisole and Flubendazole (as per other posts) but struck out. I didn't think to check ebay though. The two meds I found were the closest recommended by the local fish stores. I dosed every other day for a total of about 5 or 6 times - ...

Skinny Disease (I think)

Hi all, A few months back I read, and re-read, the articles and posts on this site about skinny disease when one of my loaches appeared to have it. He/she was lethargic, not growing, showing signs of body mass loss... etc etc. Basically looked like the sick loaches in these pictures I isolated the l...

Thanks everyone for the feedback and advice! Just figured I would update now that it has been a couple of weeks. I decided to add another clown to address their social needs, making it 3 in this tank... and promising myself to upgrade the tank size as soon as financially doable and landlord lady doa...

2 Clowns in a 36

Well, we can file this one under: "wish I had found this website BEFORE going to the LFS" At any rate, I recently set up a brand new 36 inch bowfront tank. After cycling it I went back to my LFS to get my second round of stock. Thanks in part to my own ignorance and to the suggestion of the LFS empl...
