Hi there people,

I haven't been on here for a while but I just uploaded a short video of my tank for someone and thought you might like to see it.

I have that kind of distress fight almost every morning here when I offer those tablet food. My 8" alpha loach always becomes gray and will kick asses of every one close to tablets. Nice video! 8) Cheers, those two big boys are often fighting. Although they are a close match for size one of t...

Minimum tank size for 12 Striata?

I am thinking of removing my Striata from my loach tank and putting them into their own 3' 180 litre tank, i'm not looking forward to trying to catch them though.

My question is, do you think the tank will be big enough for them and a couple of medium sized dithers?

Cheers.

Keith Wolcott wrote:Excellent video. Your loaches look great and your tank is very nicely set up.
Thanks Keith, there's plenty of places to hide/lounge in there and I have kept the front of the tank clear.

food poisoning?

Hi, has anyone ever heard of fish dying from food poisoning? I ask, as yesterday I found 2 of my clowns dead, there have been no new additions to the tank (fish, rocks, wood, plants etc) and all parameters are and have been stable for months. In short nothing new or significant has happened to the t...

Use your noodle.
An interesting analogy, very true.

My clowns get a variety of foods every day but the one thing that whips them into a frenzy is Hikari sinking carnivor pellets, their next favourite is defrosted prawns.
