I don't think the syno. would attack them, chase them maybe but not attack.
Sorry to hear about your little loach chefkeith :( it is so upsetting when one of our fishes die.

I have used Tetra Aquasafe with my fish and had no problems with it, but I don't have kuhli loaches.

Well this turned out to be more difficult than I anticipated, so fast and so small, not much larger than the Brochis splendens, but here they are!! :D
The noises in the background are my cockatiels and Mynah bird :roll:

It's also good to quarantine them so that they won't be competing for food with other fish. You'll also be able to watch them more carefully and be able to tell if they are eating. As they appear not to have eaten perhaps it would be best to separate them from other fish who may be taking their foo...

Well I'm no expert, but I feed mine just in the evening, I have 6 x 2.5" clown loaches and I give them a small handful of Tetra prima and 2 defrosted cubes of bloodworm between them, some nights I also give them an algae wafer.
