If there are two of them I'd guess they will chase each other ,leaving the other occupants ? the only way is to try them ,if it doesnt work sell them on ,but I think you'd be pleasantly surprised ?

Bob , this is the boring bit :) if you are getting Botia loaches in that tank I'd practice keeping you PH at between 7.0 and 7.5 otherwise you'll struggle :!: if you are using an external filter put coral gravel in the middle compartment :!: if you are using an internal there might be a place to put...

Yoyo's aren't easy to pin down ,I have 11 in a 96x18x23 and find they interact but not in a group way , they tent to chase each other a bit ,perhaps just laying claim to their own space ? having said this there are a lot of stones pebbles wood etc which could contribute to their behaviour ? perhaps ...

There remains quite a bit of confusion about these Indian/Pakistan Botia's ,for instance I read somewhere that B.birdi could be up to 2 pounds in weight , and they look superficially similar to Rostrata according to reports ' I think they are found in north eastern Pakistan ,so its a good bet we hav...

Hi Onetruepath , you've done are great conditioning job on those fish ,I have a group of these and agree they arent too shy but do seem quite sensitive to any movement outside their tank/aquarium ,My group consists of nine fish of various sizes ,all bought at the same time but different growth rates...
