Re: Your Favourite Loach
I can not choose one
I have all in your list, except hillstreams, and I won't get those until I can set up a proper hillstream tank
I also have histrionica, orange fin blue botia, tiger, rostrata, sumo, and probably others if I look hard enough

Re: Finally got Dwarf Chain Loaches
The tank is a 3 foot long 35 gallon.
I got 6 of them, there was a price break at that quantity, less than 6 was $13 each and 6 or more was $11 each ( 1 Canadian dollar is about 0.98 USD )
I would have got 6 anyway, they are a schooling fish

Re: stupid country restrictions
I am still looking for the Dario, Rostrata, and Histrionica loaches though. I am lucky that have those three species, and more :D Apparently, rules are changing here in Canada tomorrow, December 1st, but I have not been able to find the restricted fish list. From what I have heard, many restricted ...

Re: Fish Stores these days
Maybe they looked up the wrong loach profile ?
Ask them to look at this page:
http://www.loaches.com/species-index/cl ... cracanthus
or print and give it to them

Re: Loaches at Oktoberfish 2011
That's a nice group of loaches!! Thanks, I showed some of my large ones, except for my clowns. I have shown my clown loaches in a previous show, just giving them a rest  I have other loaches like yoyo, striata, dojo, dario, rostrata and kubotai, but I don't show them too often, most non-loach...

Re: Loach Count
Someday, I will count my loaches  Anyways, I have one Histrionica loach, I have never seen them in the local fish stores. I know it is a bit of a drive for you, but Scarborough (and even further, Whitby) Big Als have had Histies for the last few weeks. I think Mississauga had them on sale las...
