I'm using the new firefox. The problem I run into is the 'pasting from javascript is disabled due to Mozilla security settings. see...' Don't know how to change that... Wow, that's so weird. I've edited the site from 4 computers using Firefox 2.0 (and 1.5 before it came out) and have never h...

If you go to the community you'll notice I tried to create a L. taeniops profile, and what I got. :? Didn't use the template, which might be the problem, or it could be that my brain is actually asleep... Yeah, I noticed that a while ago, but was afraid to ask how all the paragraphs ran toget...

Here's some comments I sent to Martin via email: Yes, the random image feature links to the larger image. Note that I put the image credits in the description field of the image when I uploaded it, and the caption usually went in the image title unless it was too long to be reasonable. Did you notic...

Maybe we're thinking of something different here... I figured that we'd move threads to this forum after we've copied the text and images over to the new website. Mark, did you already make this page on the community site? I can't find it anywhere... We don't necessarily need to move over finished p...

It's a beautiful thing 8) I uploaded that new banner design as a test. Like falling off a bike  Now I really am going to bed. I'll be busy for a fair bit of today, but I'll come out to play later  Haha, those bikes are tricky! :D Anyway, the first time is always the hardest, and it looks...

Martin and Mark, I've given you Manager access and created a Member Folder for each of you. (A member folder is your own private area where you can create pages) Let me know if the Member Folder link gives an error. I can't test it since I can't log in as you, and I'm just following notes I took on ...

Well, the space was not allowed in the username, but it sure gave you a misleading error message for it! Anyway, the username can be one word, whatever you want. For the full name field when you register, it's nice to have your full name (e.g "Jeff Shafer") so that shows up on all articles you write...

Jeff, it won't let me register because it says my username is already in use. Martin. Hmmn, what username were you trying to use? Your username can't have spaces or special characters in it. (But your name can). Anyway, I registered you with a username of "martin" and had no problems. You should ge...

It's 3:30am on a Friday night, so I should be going to bed soon... Hopefully sometime Saturday I'll invite all the moderators to create accounts on the new website, and then I'll manually give you all Manager permissions so you can edit things. Before that happens though, I've got a few loose ends t...

Purpose of Forum

This forum is to be used to hold Loach species descriptions that have been copied over to the new community center. (That way, we can refer back to comments and discussion if we want, but it will be easy to tell what species have been moved and which are still pending). Just use the move-thread butt...

Will they have to re-bookmark and still be able to develop their page, or will they have pages in both places? Oh, also, they won't need bookmarks at all. They can just browse through the site normally. Any pages that they have permission to edit, they just hit the edit button at the top. The same ...
