Compared to what you pay for em at some stores here
$ 15 is still a nice price
one of the lfs' here sells em at EU 13,95 and those examples look rather sickly to me
I was lucky finding another one that has good healthy sidth's at EU 7,50

My 9 Sidthimunki,s now are quite possibly the longest inhabitants in my tank, they can be quite inquisitive, especially to new comers Never seen em as bullies though :) I have one that kept swimming along with a shoal of neon tetra's When i rehomed the tetra's he finally decided that he defenitely i...

To me it seems your describing "the Loachy dance" My 9 Sidths do this shoaled together as well as individually. They swim up the front window wriggling their tails like mad, then drop down a bit to repeat it again. They can be at this for long times on end. To me it seems like their doing this becau...

i,ve kept Beaufortia,s together with Sidthimunki's temperatures ranging from 24° to 26° and never had problems with them :D
I on the other hand am expanding tankwise so the Beaufortia's temporarily moved to the oddball tank :)

Beautiful Sidht's indeed MadDuff :D Hope to be giving mine a tank for themselves so they can spawn some young. I already spot a lot of pre spawning behaviour amongst them. With all these other fish the eggs will never get a chance. Any tankmates you can sugest to keep em active and happy ? As they t...

Nice read.

in the nearby future i,m planning on giving the sidth,s their own tank.
What would you guys consider a good tankmate for a shoal of around 30
(3ft vision 180) that won,t eat the eggs ? (or atleast not too many)

so do they ship em out to The Netherlands aswell ? and if so do you have an adress for me ? Most Hillies in lfs are kept in horrible ways :( I,d rather have a dependable online buy, risking the loss of healthy fish then some fish kept in sad conditions dying on me some time after they got in my tank.

Tank looks really nice :D I remember reading an article about covering your powerhead with mesh and such to prevent damage to your fish. I think it,s somewhere amongst the articles. I,m jealous of you guys being able to obtain Sewellia Lineolata that easily :oops: Any lfs i enter asking for them res...

Nine at the moment :) Found em in the lfs and instantly fell in love. but they only had 4, so very quickly after they had a restock got another 6 :) Sadly one of em had a premature demise a while back. I had to move the wood out of the tank to catch the Gibbiceps pair (fell for the fish without prio...
