The more I read, the more I feel at ease about this. Sumps to me have always = leakage in my head, but assuming this has been setup successfully before and does not involve me drilling bits I think it should be fine. I have requested pics and a bit more info on the actual setup itself so I will post...

Marine to freshwater/manifold

Well good news :D since Chris and buddies have managed to find a lock-up to 'play' with their toys, the fishroom has been upgraded to the garage meaning that I can increase my tank sizes for all my fish :D Happy days and happy fish in the long run. Thats the first thing that popped into my head... not a chance I would be willing to tank anyway-it will only take a taste of one shrimp for them to start picking the off.

Do you know what the maintance of the tank was like before you got it? Do you use any chemicals/co2 for the plants? Any water ...

That does not look like a healthy clown :? When the 'colour change' began did you do anything to the tank-large water change for example? The test strips are not themost reliable of water tests-you would be much better with liquid test kits as they are far more accurate. Your nitrates are a little h...

What are your water parameters- ammonia, nitrite, nirtate, pH, kh and gh? How did you introduce the fish to the tank? Did you check the water chem of the shop you bought of? Hows the breathing-is it laboured? It could be that you introduced them to quickly and your water chem was different to that o...
