Hi Mike, Good to hear the move went well, all your planning was good but it is still a bit scary doing it for the first time . Did it take 4 people to carry the tank ?? I have the same problem with my AC110 only fitting on the ends of the tank so I think I will replace it with another 2028 and keep ...

Hi Ey, I see this "Ghosting" occasionally but it is a Kubotai doing it to my Alpha Yo-Yo. The Yo-Yo can be annoying to the other fish, chasing them but never really biting or such but this one Kubotai seems to "take" so much then seems to retaliate in this way. I am not sure if this Kub is the Alpha...

Hi Erik, Nice camera the D80. I've had one for about a year now and just love it. I have the 18-135 and 70-300 lenses and my next one will be the 60mm Micro. I love the rich colours the Nikon gives. http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa140/loachelover/Fish/DSC_1359.jpg http://i197.photobucket.com/al...

Sorry, forgot to add that I will post some photo's when completed. Greenbaron has a good opinion of the Classic so they would be a good choice but I would go the largest you can. Just remember the flow figures given for ALL filters are without filter medium, pads or foam. For example my 2026 is rated...

Hi again Ey, The cabinet I got is a Colonial design with four doors made from first-grade pine. The price was $555 for the cabinet but I got 10% off this as I got the package. The quality of workmanship in it is truly firstclass and the main reason I went with it. Colonial Cabinet = $555 Colonial Ho...

Hi Ey, Great choice going with Eheim - I have a Pro 2 / 2026 running on a 3x1.5x1.5 and it has been great. Very easy to maintain with 2 media baskets, easy to remove and replace hose connections and very simple priming. I have never had a Classic but have heard they have minor "problems" that were c...

Hi Ey, I just noticed that Livefish.com.au has 3cm Sid's for $12.87 (31% off). I have never used them and have heard good and bad reports about them. They also list 15cm Clowns at $131.99 but have sold out of 20cm Clowns they had for $302.47. It makes the 15cm clowns I am getting privately for $40 e...

Hi ey, Got your PM but thought answering on the Forum was best. We sure get a "rough deal" from The Government over which Loaches that can be imported into Australia as they see them as a threat to our rivers and native aquatic life if released. Cichlid and Catfish get a much better deal from the Go...

Hi Mack, How is things on the other side of the "ditch", warming-up yet? Your planted tank is just amazing, you must have put a lot of effort and money into it but I'm sure your Histronica's and other fish just love it. We can't get Histronica's over here in Aus but I keep my feelers out for them an...

Hi Chen, From what I have read Albendazole is virtually insoluble in water so might not be the best way of treatment - it could be used if dosed in food. It is used on humans and they have found it is absorbed into the blood fourfold if dose is given with a fatty meal. It is used against Nematodes n...
