Fab work, Martin - very concise. And congrats (as always, it seems) to Graeme for nabbing such nice fish.

Guilty, but...

I brought a pair of skunks home months ago and quarantined them in a 20 gallon tank - not a long tank, but with ample hide outs. They seemed to get really well adjusted quickly. They do some brief territorial shows with each other, but it's not harmfully violent. I would like to get more, and follow...

Stunted clowns

No, that's not genetically accurate. Clowns have been arriving in all sorts of aquariums over a long period. The complaints and observations have been entirely uniform and consistent. I am a fan of farmed loaches for export. There is no such thing as a "green" way to export these fish, but avoiding ...

Sensation

I'm pleased to even know you by abstract text messages. And very jealous!!
Best of luck with them... You kind of want to dangle food on a meathook in front of them like an Oz alligator tour.

I'm getting Martin and myself some sound walking shoes, some unsound wading shoes, and some plane tickets!

Nonn - these photos make so many of us so happy! Please continue!

Happy new year from here!

So you've got a new loach... Trouble shooting

I wanted to start a thread that will be helpful for new loach collectors who might find themselves here for the first time. I'd like my learned colleagues to add to this thread in general ways, if they will. You've got your first - or maybe your tenth - loach in its tank and something has gone awry....
